The 2013 State Convention is
Almost Here!
AOH/LAOH State Convention will be in Kansas City,
MO, near Zona Rosa on May 3rd and 4th. The Embassy Suites is
offering a convention package for $85. The convention package
includes breakfast and a sit down dinner. Room reservations
are $103 per room.

AOH/LAOH
National Convention 2014
St. Louis AOH and LAOH chapters will
play host to the 2014 AOH/LAOH National Convention.
Accommodations are
currently being arranged as well as the mass schedule. Check back often
as details will be posted as they become available.

Easter Uprising of
1916
Commemoration Ceremony
The Uprising Commemoration Ceremony
was held on Sunday, April 7th at Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
The local Irish Gathering meets annually in remembrance of the
fallen comrades during the Easter Rebellion in 1916. The march began
at 11AM to the Irish Nationalist plot, featuring a huge celtic
cross. Chapter officials then a participated in the laying of
the wreaths; which was followed with speeches of fallen heroes of
the Uprising by representatives of Hibernian Divisions around the St
Louis area. The wrap up included the singing of the Irish
Anthem .
Snacks and drinks were provided afterward.

AOH/LAOH Joint Spring Mass
The AOH/LAOH Joint
Spring Mass was held on pril 14, 2013 at Little Flower Catholic
Church in Richmond Heights, Missouri. Mass was celebrated by LOAH
State Chaplain Fr. Larry Herzog. Pictures to follow on the

April Wrap-Up!
Irish beginning language classes
were started on April 23, 2013. This is a fun and interactive
group. Any member of St. Charles Sister Cities Programs, Inc.,
will receive free tuition with paid dues.
The class is reviewing and starting
from the beginning. Classes are held in Dogtown on Clayton across
from the Irish Gift Shop and Seamus McDaniel’s and begins at 6 pm.
Class is limited to about 18 people - contact

interested.
